ERNEST WIGGINS - PICTOU - The death of Ernest Wiggins occurred early Saturday morning at his home, 11 Chestnut St. East, after nine months illness from a heart condition. He was 62 years old. A native of Ontario, he came to Pictou ten years ago and has since made his home here where he was an employee of Ferguson Industries Ltd. He was a veteran of World War I. STUART WILE - NEW GERMANY - Funeral services for the late Stuart Wile of Hemford, were held on Wednesday afternoon, March 17, at the Union Church, withe Rev. Arnold H. Mitton, pastor ofthe United Church conducting service. The late Mr. Wile, who was a semi-invalid for some years, died suddenly at hie home on Sunday, Mar. 14. He was the son of the late Freeman Wile and Kathleen Smith Wile, and was born in Hemford 73 years ago. MRS. OLIVE LANTZ - WINDSOR - Mrs.. Olive Lantz died suddenly at her home Friday afternoon after being stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage in the morning. The former Pearl Statia Nauss, Mrs. Lantz was born at Chester, Lunenburg Co, 70 years ago, the daughter of the late Charles and Lavenia Nauss. During her married life she lived in Falmouth and came to Windsor following the death of her husband. She was a faithful member of the Baptist Church and in her earlier days took an active interest. Surviving are three daughters, Nellie, Mrs. Arden Eldrige, and Lettie, Mrs. Wilbur Aker, Falmouth. Ruth, Mrs. McMillan; two sons, Roy at home and Charles, Three Mile Plains. Two sons predeceased her. A brother, Leslie Nauss, Robinson Corner, and a sister, Mabel, Mrs. Blenhym Hiltz, Leminster, Mass., also survive. The funeral will be held from the Lohnes funeral home on Monday at 2:30 Rev. H. L. PERCY L. McGRATH - GRANVILLE FERRY - The death of Percy Loran McGrath, esteemed resident of Port Wade, Annapolis County, and World War I veteran, occurred at the Annapolis General Hospital early Tuesday morning. He has been ill the past three years and a hospital patient the past two months. He was born at Victoria Beach 64 years ago,, a son of the late William McGrath of Victoria Beach and Almeda McGrath of Waldeck. He lived practically all his life at Port Wade. Mr. McGrath was married in 1916 to Miss Lottie Flemming of New Germany. On resuming civilian life they resided for a time in Halifax and later spent several years in Lynn, Mass. ROLAND MARSHALL - NEW GLASGOW - Roland Marshall, George St. New Glasgow, a well known and highly esteemed citizen, passed away Thursday at the Aberdeen Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and his sudden death is keenly felt by his many friends and business associates. For many years he was a member of the office staff of the Trenton steel plant. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Marshall and was born in New Glasgow. A sister, Miss Amy Marshall, predeceased him only a few months ago.
